Ellen: I read your post about insurance and I had almost the exact same thing happen in April 03 -- insurance withdrew approval the Friday before my Wednesday surgery. I tried to appeal it once I found out on Monday, but it was useless. They just didn't care since it didn't fall under the "life or death" category. I am so sorry that you are going through this. I sincerely hope that you will be able to salvage your surgery date. Don't give up and fight as hard as you can. And please keep us posted.
