Kathy is doing great. She has been up walking several times today and is looking forward to passing her leak test tomorrow so she can have something cold to drink. She was resting comfortably (sort of) when I left her this evening.

Kathy came throught her surgery today with flying colors. They had a little trouble maintaining the central line and had to redo it before she left the OR, but the surgery itself went off without a hitch. The last thing she said before I left her this evening was that she thought this day would never come. She is one courageous lady and I am so proud of her!
