~~~~CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR UPCOMING SURGERY. ~~~~ May God give you courage, strength and guidance throughout your new journey. Your big day is almost here, this is the day, your new life will begin, I cant promise it will be easy, cant say it will be hard, I can say that with all the complications and everything I had to go through, It was well worth it. I have never felt better in yearsss, I’m off all medications, have sooooo much more energy. So if you hit a bump in the road, hang in there and remember it will alll be worth it in the long run. Prayers that the Lord will guide your surgeon’s hands and you have a speedy recovery. . Remember your not alone in this journey, many of us have been down this road, we are here to offer love and support. Looking forward to hearing from you on the loosing side. Huggs and Prayers

Hi Paulette! :) So sorry you have had a time of it for the past 10+ years. I am so excited that you will be able to have this surgery and that your new/second birthday is coming up fast. :) This is a time where the emotional rollercoaster speeds up and you experience joy, anxiety, fear, excitement, etc. and that is all normal. We are all here for you and support you in every way! :) You will do great and I look forward to hearing about your progress on the message boards. :) Keep the faith and think Positive! :) I will keep you in thoughts and prayers. Paulette it sounds like we are pretty much in the same boat with the knees and the back problems. I too can no longer tolerate the pain and discomfort, not to mention the near to no social life other than home, work, and back. I will see Dr Wongsa tomorrow for my initial consultation (8/20/2004). I wish you the best in achieving your weight loss goal. I'll post tomorrow after my appointment to let you know how it went and how I feel about the Doctor and as to whether or not I will be pursuing this surgery. Good Luck, Sandra!

May God Bless you as you go through your journey to a healthier life. My surgery was with Dr Wongsa earlier this year. He is an excellent surgeon. You couldn’t be in better hands! Please keep us posted on your journey -- let us know when you have a date!!! Take care and god bless.
