Raul Mirande
"Dr. Mirande is a "people person." He is compassionate and sympathetic to obese people. He never once made me feel "helplessly fat" during any of our pre-op visits. He explains thoroughly the surgery and the risks of surgery. I was one of his "early" patients and his office was just getting into the organizational phase, so I did not have the advantage of a dietition. All aspects of the aftercare were covered by Dr. Mirande. I was recently invited to attend a local seminar given by Dr. Mirande as a "show and tell" guest, along with all other post-op patients (3 of us showed up). His eyes light up whenever he smiles his approval of how we are doing. He believes in what he is doing. He is a very capable laproscopic surgeon."
