Hey there! You are so right. It is only we ourselves that can allow our joy to be taken, but it is so easy to allow. Hang in there. This is not the easy way and you know it. It is a tool. Much like the book he offered you. The difference is the rate of success. His book is less than 3% successful and wls is nearly 75% or more. Joy robbers abound, but choose today NOT to let them do it. You know you have all of our thougts and prayers.

Dear Kristine~~~~You have done your research, you've been part of this website, you know what people go through to make WLS part of their life. It isn't a whim, it's not something someone decides to do and they go have it done in the afternoon-like having a manicure. People who aren't in our bodies, our minds, our situations can say all they want out of love for us but it doesn't mean they understand. Don't let anyone get you down-think things through one more time for yourself and then have your surgery if that is what you want. Just remember all the other diet books that you've looked at in your lifetime. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers for a successful surgery and an uneventful recovery. May God continue to watch over you and your family. Be strong. Lorraine

Kristine-Congrats!! I have a consultation with Dr Wongsa on march 4 and am so excited. Can't wait to see how you do. I also have Humana PPO and am trying to find out how easy they are with this and what they require. Once again... God Bless and a speedy recovery.
