Nancy called me this afternoon and she said she is very sore but she is doing okay, she said "I can't wait until tomorrow so I can have a drink of water" although she does get to keep her mouth moist. She said Venessa isn't feeling to great but I explained about that in my last post. Anyway, I guess things are moving along for both of them although they both sounded tired when I talked to them. I will let you know if any problems arise, other then that I will let the ladies post when they return home. Please continure to hold them up in prayer for a speedy recovery and to lift Venessa's spirits. Thank you Tammy Brinegar

I just called the hospital and talked to Venessa and she was having some problems they had to put her on a catheter, because she did not have any output. She also found out she was alergic to morphine she broke out in a rash on her tummy. Right now she is running a fever and she was given blood thinners through out the night. She said she is soaking wet and feels like she is burning up. I am not sure what is going on, but I told her I would talk to her when she got home, because I thought she sounded tired and I don't want to keep bothering her right now. She really needs this time to just rest. Nancy, is doing okay although she is sorer because she had more done. They have been walking the halls together. Venessa, said she hadn't seen Monica Rameriz yet...but I might be calling the hospital tomorrow to talk to Monica. I think sometimes its good to get alot of rest in the hospital without getting alot of phone calls. I am also finding the more I hear how sore they are the more nervous I am getting. I have only 6 more days to go before I am where they are. Love you guys Tammy Brinegar

Well I called the hospital just now and I talked to Nancy Flowers and she said she feels worse today but she would call me back. I guess Venessa was standing in the hall way waiting for her lol that sounds so cute, I am so glad they have each other. Monica Ramirez had her surgery and she is doing fine I talked to the nurse and she is in her own room. So, now there is 3 of those crazy Winnemucca, Nevada girls lurking in the halls. Anyway, I will let you know how they are coming along...as far as I know the whole troop is doing well. I am feeling kinda left out...I will be there by myself I won't have any walking buddies. Well love you Nancy, Venessa, and Monica hang in there. Love from all of us Tammy Brinegar I only have 1 week till its my turn

Well I got done calling the hospital and spoke to Venessa's nurse and she is doing fine. I feel like a nervous wreck its almost 3am and I called the hospital just to make sure she was doing alright. Well, I guess her husband went home...I bet he was exhasted, I think its almost as hard on the husbands. Anyway I will update again, in the next couple of days or sooner. Love you guys, and please keep Venessa in your prayers for a speedy recovery. Tammy Brinegar

Nancy Flowers has been on the surgical floor now for a couple of hours she is resting I spoke to her nurse and she seems to be pain free at the moment. Venessa Christian just arrived about an hour ago and she is still quite drowsy from the surgery she hasn't completly became alert yet. Its mine understanding that they are doing quite well. They are not in the same room I guess they both got private rooms but I am sure they will be hooking up in the morning and start walking together. We love and are praying for both of you two. It won't be long and you guys can be checking in on me. Love you Venessa and Nancy!~ You are now on the other side to a happy and heathlier life. Tammy Brinegar

I just called the Hospital and Venessa is sceduled for Surgery at 3:30. I will call later tonight and get an update on how her sugery went. Nancy Flowers is right before Venessa's and 12:30 so when I call tonight I will be checking on them both. I'm sure they will not want to talk until tomorrow if then. Dr. Belnap leaves the NG tube in for a couple of days and what I have heard its kinda hard to talk with it. But, the husbands are both with them and then also they are gonna be in the same room from what I understand...so that is really neat. They are both very sweet ladies. I will keep you posted. Venessa, well what can I say? You are a very special person and I have been blessed to have a freind like you. I pray everything goes well for you and that you are at peace prior to surgery and I also pray for you to have a speedy recovery. If you need anything please call me!
