Hi Tricia, COngrats on the insu approval, i just had my pre ops done and it was nothing. Breathing test- very easy just blowing into a mouthpiece attached to a computer to record the readings, Urine sample, Blood work, 4 vials i think,EKG, finger clip for oxygen levels(i flunked) Dr listening to my breathing n chest sounds n checking stomach for whatever they check for!! Thats it- nothing else. Well i did have to have a blood gasses blood test taken out of the artery in my wrist- it wasnt painful either. You will do fine. MY surgery was cancelled for my low blood oxygen level-- i go to see a pulmonary dr tomorrow, my surgeon suggested a trach for me BUMMER :( God Bless n take care. De :)
