Ramona, I suffered from that for 2 years. I had one Cortizone shot and then months later had another, and then the pain went away. But I do have some tips my doc gave me. Before you get out of bed, flex your feet, point your toes toward your knees and then point them way down. Do this several times. Then when you get up, stand about 18 inches away from the wall and lean into it, till your chest is close to the wall. Do this seveal times. And wear very supportive shoes all day. I go barefoot all the time now, but at the time, I wore good shoes ALL DAY. It really does help. My doctor said I had just enough bone spur to show up, but not enough to be the cause of my problem. Stretch, stretch, stretch your muscles in the morning and it will help tremendously. I wore Rockport shoes, they helped so much. Good luck.
