Shirley - I was happy to read that your surgery went so well and that you are back home. I'm Peggy's friend/angel and so glad that both of your surgeries went so well. You are in my prayers for a speedy recovery.
UPDATE~ I saw Shirley at Northwestern Hospital in Chicago yesterday. She looked amazing!!! If I didn't know about the surgery, I wouldn't have known she was sick!! She looks great and has been doing just fine. She sends her love and wishes to everyone. She should be coming home either today or tomorrow.
UPDATE~ Shirley is out of surgery and doing well. Her procedure took a bit longer than expected, but all is fine. As I understand it, they were able to successfully complete the surgery laparscopically. I will be seeing her today. Thank you!
Shirley, I am thinking of you today as you begin your journey to the other side. Good luck to you and may your recovery be quick and uneventful. A WLS friend,
