HI STEPHANIE. MY NAME IS JODY AND I LIVE IN BLOOMINGTON, MN. ALSO. I'M HAVING MY FIRST CONSULTATION WITH DR. IKRAMUDDIN ON APRIL 18TH AND I'M SCARED TO DEATH!!! ANY THING I SHOULD DO BEFORE I GO TO THE 1ST APPOINTMENT? I HAVEN'T GONE TO MY PRIMARY PHYSICIAN AND SPOKEN TO HIM YET, DO YOU THINK I SHOULD GET A LETTER FROM HIM? THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP!!

Good luck Stephanie!! It was great to meet you in the hosp. I feel good for a 4 day post-op. It has been a smooth process for me, I wish the same for you!

Just wishing you the best on your upcoming surgery! I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. I am 8 months post op and have NO REGRETS! It just gets better every day. God Bless you!

Good luck on your surgery. I was suppose to have mine Dec. 28, got changed to Jan. 23rd. They had to give up my spot for that day, as insurance still hadn't been approved. I got approved Jan. 7th. I have surgery Feb. 6th. Same hospital, same Dr. Marcia

Stephanie, best wishes for your upcoming surgery. I had mine at Abbott NW in November 2000, and I have never had a single regret. One thing that may help to remember is that the nervousness is over with when you wake up in the recovery room to your new life.

Stephanie~I wish you the best with your upcoming surgery.After losing over 80 lbs so far I can definately say this is the greatest thing I have ever done for myself.Keep us posted on your progress. God Bless~Kim
