Hi Linda, I am not too far away from your neck of the woods here in Lakeland. I had my surgery in 1998> Hang in there, it only gets better from where you are now. The rough part is the first 5 months when your body will be adjusting to a new way of life. The road gets easier and easier if you follow the new path and do not try to use old ways to deal with your new life. Take Care. Mary

Linda is out of ICU and is in room 406. I talked with her this evening, and aside from being a little loopey on drugs, she seems in good spirits and is doing fine. No complications, drinking her water, and isnt in too much pain, as long as she doesnt move... Hopefully she will be released tomorrow.

Hey All- I talked with Linda's husband last night and she is doing fine- she made it through surgery with no problems or complications. She is in ICU so cant recieve phone calls. But so far so good!! I will keep you all posted.

Dear Dear Linda, As you sit downing the Go-lytley, know that thousands before you have also endured.. We send out out prayers and our willingness to support you through upcoming trials, as you enter the new cool zone- we call post-op. Know that we are all only a phone call away.
