Melissa, I just read your post and wanted to send you some encouragement. I don't know what it is like to have your kind of complications, butit was a good 6 mos. to a year before I could say I was glad I did it. Hang in there...it will get better. Warm hugs....Rhonda :)

Hi Melissa, I know you're still sore and feeling yucky, but it'll get better. Remember all these things that I say to you when it's my turn on 20 Nov!!! LOL. Remember, we're just butterflies waiting to get out! I can't imagine that it's very comfortable for catterpillars/butterfiles going through their transformation either! I looked for your picture on this site, but the site is HUGE and I'm still learning my way around. Are you pictured anyplace? Rest, drink and know you did the right thing! Beverly

Hi Melissa, How are you feeling today? I wrote you a couple more times at your e-mail address. My friend, Bev Lee, also sent me something to forward to you. Hang in there! I hope you're feeling fetter with each day! Take care! Beverly

Hi Melissa, Yes, it will get better! I'm one month out and feeling great. But you should have talked to me one week out. I was in a lot of pain and I could smell food but could only eat liquids. It was very hard. But each day you will improve and when you can start doing your normal routine without pain you will feel so much better! I wrote about it every few days. If you go to my profile you will see how cranky I was at first. I had the same thoughts you had. They will pass! Best wishes. Just rest now and take it easy on yourself.

Melissa, IT WILL GET BETTER!!! I'm not lucky enough to even have a surgery date yet, but I've read hundreds of comments from others stating they had the same feeling. Hang in there, honey!! It will get better and the weight will come off and you will feel like the million bucks you are worth!!! Take care and know that there is always someone here to listen. Kuri, the true blue luzer!
