Tina had her surgery yesterday morning (Wednesday) and made it through with flying colors. She said that she's in pain but doing well.

tina the best thing i can tell you it to keep a positive outlook yes every thing takes time and there will be pain but this is for a whole new life.i will keep you in my prayers mary hughes

TINA, I wish you all the very best on your upcoming surgery. Pacific Bariatrics is a wonderful group of surgeons. I had my open RNY performed by Dr. Rumsey on 6-28-01. He was wonderful. The nursing staff at Scripps/Mercy hospital were so nice and knowledgable. Don't be afraid to push your nurses button and ask for anything you need!!! BLESS YOU AND YOUR SURGEON.
