Hi Melonie! It sounds like you're doing really great! I'm also in Dr. Proctor's program and have a surgery date on 11/20. I can't wait! I hope you keep posting your progress 'cause I'll be looking to those of you who have already made it to the "other side" for help and guidance. I'm so happy for you!

I was able to meet Melonie & her husband Keith for the first time when I visited her Tuesday night at he hospital. She is just precious...so very pretty. Keith is everything Mel says he is and more...quite a gentleman and he loves her so much. She was in some pain and discomfort but was holding up well. She is so happy to be on the "other side" & I was happy to share that with her. It was great to finally meet two wonderful new friends. I wish Melonie only the best recovery & lots of lost pounds! She is special and deserves it so much. Can you believe that she & Keith also showed up at the support group meeting this past Sat. morning. Talk about dedicated! I have no doubt that Melonie will be a true success and inspiration to all of us doing WLS!!! Email her or me if you have questions or concerns---we love hearing from everyone!
