I saw Shane at the hospital last night and he is doing great! The doctor did the surgery lap, and everything went well. Shane is in a little pain, but no more than normal. He's got a great attitude, so I know he will do well once he leaves the hospital!

Good Luck tomorrow, Shane! I'll be thinking of you as you journey toward "the other side." Boy, just imagine some non-fatties seeing these well wishes..."Congratulations, you loser!" "I'm a post-op" "have you had rny or vbg?" "how do you rate the detours vs. the balance?" ...they'd think we're from some other planet! Maybe we are, but we'll be healthy and THIN THIN THIN. Truly, best wishes for an easy surgery and pain free, speedy recovery! Mary
