HI JOELENE! It was so wonderful to meet you at the hospital. It was so special to go into the surgery knowing that when I would get out I would met my new online buddy. You were a great support. I am so sorry we had such a short goodbye today. I am at home and in some pain. We really are two of the luckiest people. We have great doctors, had surgery at THE BEST hospital in the country and will forever be changed. You are such a very special person in my life and I cannot wait to meet up again soon. Maybe on our 2 week and 6 week post op appts! Do well in your recovery. WALK WALK WALK! Just remember the walking track and the great nurses we had. Okay I am going to stop crying now (which was like my seemingly favorite past time while in the hospital!) and wait to hear from you soon. Take care Joelene!

Hi Jolene, Just wanted you to know that you will be in my thoughts and prayers on Wednesday. I too am a Barix alum. Dr. K. did my surgery 15 months (and 190 pounds) ago. My experience at Barix was incredibly positive and I know that I could not have received better care any where in the world.
