Hi everyone. I spoke with Lori on the phone last night. She's still in the hospital but is feeling much better. She still has a low grade fever but her oxygen levels are much better and she is getting up and walking. She is on a patch now for pain. At first the level of pain meds was too much which sedated her heavily, but the new patch has half the power as the first and she is now alert and sounded good over the phone. She also started on clear fluids and did fine with them. Thanks to everyone who posted your encouragement and to all who prayed and were concerned. God bless you all.

I spoke with Lori's mom last night and Lori has had a couple of rough days. She's been running a fever and her oxygen levels were down last night so they had to put her on oxygen. Please pray for her and drop her a line of encouragement.

Hi Lori, I've been thinking about you all day. I just wanted to let you know I'll be praying for you on Thursday. I know you'll do fine and I look forward to seeing you when you get back home. Remember to put your nurse career aside and be a "good patient." When I get my surgery next month, you and Rene and I can be "The Three DS-keteers." :) I look forward to seeing you when you get back home. God bless you, Brenda
