Kathy, I see you will be going under the knife with Mark, He tooo is my Doctor. He is a wonderful man, and saved my life. So You are in great hands. If you ever need anything feel free to contact me...... ~~~~CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR UPCOMING SURGERY. ~~~~ May God give you courage, strength and guidance throughout your new journey. Your big day is almost here, this is the day, your new life will begin, I cant promise it will be easy, cant say it will be hard, I can say that with all the complications and everything I had to go through, It was well worth it. I have never felt better in yearsss, I’m off all medications, have sooooo much more energy. So if you hit a bump in the road, hang in there and remember it will alll be worth it in the long run. Prayers that the Lord will guide your surgeon’s hands and you have a speedy recovery. . Remember your not alone in this journey, many of us have been down this road, we are here to offer love and support. Looking forward to hearing from you on the loosing side. Huggs and Prayers

Hello! Unoffical angel testing her new wings here~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ yelp... looks like I am flying straight... I called Our Lady of Belfonte Hospital last night and talked to Kathy's mother. She is in a semi-private room and is on the waiting list for a private room. Her Mom was very nice (especially since she had no idea who I was.. though I tried to explain. She said Kathy's surgery lasted 3 hours.. open rny.. and she did fine.. no problems witht he surgery at all! She did say that she was having some pain and I asked her if she was on a PCA pump but I honestly don't remmeber what she said. Ohhhhh.. she did say that Kathy had already been up out of the bed and sitting in the bedside chair. I did not get a chance to call her today but I will try to call tomorrow morning. I had to go check on my fathers grave..about 100 miles away... 2 more days and he will be gone a month : (.

Kathy, As a person that is having WLS four days after you I asked myself what whould I want to hear this close to my surgery. I would want to hear that I am being prayed for and that my decision is the right one. I pray that your recovery will be fast and beyond your hopes. I ask that God watch over you and bring your through safely to the other side. Walk, cough and breathe deep as you being your new life. You are making the right choice to make a new life for yourself. God Bless you.
