Sam, I'm sorry to hear that you are stuck in the *waiting game*. I hope that you'll soon be hearing that you are approved! Two ladies in my support group were recently approved after a very long battle. I have faith that you'll be approved, too!

Hi Sam, I had stomach stapling in 1983 and I am talking to a Dr. Husted in Nashville and he knows his stuff I went to a DR Bell in Columbia and he would not touch me altho he did my sisters surgery, so I knew he was a good dr but he is really not up on things, I am wanting the BDDS my dr does both they really carefor there patients here but I am having a time trying to get my ins approved I got turned down I have BCBS PPO, so please pray for me. The reason I am writing this is to let you know even if they will not do you there you can get it done and done wright, is DR Stickland in with Bell and are they from Lexington Ky, I am pretty sure this is where I came and payed a 150.00 for him to turn me down which he could have told me on the phone because he had all of my papers all he had to do was tell me but my husband took a day off work we drove down there got a motel and payed him that to say he would not do it, sorry but they really upset me down there, but good luck to you.

Hi there Sam!!--I am so sorry that you are having such a rough time right now--Your situation sounds extremely complicated and you definitely need the "experts" input to help you get to the next level--If I had a magic wand--I would wave it and make things all better--but all I can do is send you kind thoughts, best wishes, and most heavenly prayers for everything to work out in your favor--please don't give up--I have seen miracles happen here at AMOS--hopefully yours is right around the corner!! Hi Sam - I just wanted to encourage you to hang in there. I know from experience that the waiting is the hardest part - especially when we see others who have started the process recently whiz on by! Hopefully the fact that your surgeon in getting a second opinion means that you will have even better care in the end! I pray that this will turn out to be a permanent solution for us both. I tried this last night and did it wrong. I hope this posts on the message board now. I am writing this to ask for support for my angel! She is one of the most supportive people I have ever met and now she needs some support. She is having a horrible time with the doctors. She had a procedure done years ago and it has to be undone and let that heal before she can have her rny. She has been waiting for a LONG time. And the doctors are making her wait longer. Could ya'll please extend some encouragement and support for my angel! Please!!! I would greatly appreciate it. Sam, I love you girl and hope you don't mind me sharing this!
