My sincere sympathy to all of Shannon's family and friends. How difficult it must be for you! We are all just looking for health, happiness and acceptance in having weight loss surgery. God bless and heal your hurting hearts.

6/1/01 To Shannon's family-- I am very sorry for your loss. This sudden loss is very shocking and I know you must all be grief-stricken and wish that Shannon never heard of weight-loss surgery. I just had mine done on Tuesday, so reading Shannon's personal comments and everything afterwards is very sobering. She was about the same size as I am. I respect her decision to do this, but I deeply sympathize with her survivors and hope you will come to some peaceful resolution about this eventually. I am sure that I speak for many of us at AMOS in saying that if there is anything I can do (we can do) please don't hesitate to ask, or even if you want to talk.

Dear Lord I humbly pray that you will be with Shannon's family now and in the hour of their need, comfort them and bring them peace. Amen To Shannon's family, I am having surgery on Monday morning, even knowing the reality of the risks I want to go through with this. I am sure Shannon also had hope in her heart and the hope outweighed the fear. God Bless you all. Norma

At the top of this screen it says that Shannon doesn't have an angel yet. How wrong can that be? Shannon has more angels than any one person could imagine. Better yet, she is now an angel herself. Rest in peace and go with God my friend.
