I am flying in for my Final Angel Report on Judy. She is at home and doing very well! It has been my priveledge and an honor to have been Judy's Angel - I hope to continue being an angel to her in life as we continue our WLS journeys together. Judy, I am so proud of you! Friday Angel Update: Well, Judy had her leak test today & she passed it! So, she was able to start on liquids today & will go home tomorrow! YIPPEE! Let's hear it for our Judy!!!!!!! Way to go, girl! I cannot wait 'til we are in those water aerobics classes together! It is gonna be great! Welcome to the losing side! Hugs GMSKAT

Hey All! I just spoke with Judy & she is sounding great! She finally got a room at MUSC last night & it is the very same room I had 12 days ago - ironic huh? Her surgery went well & she has been able to get up and walk today - it sounds like she is making great progress! She will go home on Saturday if all goes as well as it has been going. Let's keep the support & prayers going for a special lady! Hugs GMSKAT

Hey everyone, Scarlett aka GMSKAT here. I am flying in for a second Angel Update. I spoke with Judy's daughter & then with a nurse in recovery. She is still not in her room - there is a hold up due to a short on beds - go figure! Judy spent several hours on a recovery bed and very uncomfortable, but they were able to get her a "regular" bed to use in recovery. She will get her own room sometime tonight - late - hopefully! I hate this for her - recovery was very loud & definitely not a place to rest. I will post more tomorrow - hopefully she will be in her own room & able to get some rest, also they won't let her up to walk tonight because of all of this. Please say a prayer for her! Other than all of this going on, her surgery went well according to her daughter, Belinda. Also, the recovery nurse I spoke with said she is in relatively good spirits now that she has a comfortable bed. That's it for now - remember to keep this awesome lady in our prayers for a speedy recovery! Hugs GMSKAT
