ANGEL HERE....Well Nicole Putzke's surgery was a big success! She came through it with flying colors! She looked GRRRRREAT in the hospital, and she passed all of her tests with flying colors! I saw her friday in the hospital and she was the model patient! They are releasing her this morning into the care of her wonderful husband and three kids! GOOD LUCK NICOLE...KEEP UP THE WONDERFUL PROGRESS TO THE THIN SIDE!!!!

Hi Nicole! Welcome to the other side....know you'll do just great here. Just remember that the first 6 weeks are the most challenging, and after that it's soooo much easier. You are in my prayers...congratulations on your life affirming choice!! Hugs,

ANGEL HERE...Well I was at the hospital today when they wheeled Nicole Putzke in from her open RNY with Dr. Wood, at Detroit Riverview hospital. She was groggy, but she looked ok and the Dr. said that she did extremely well during surgery. They fixed up her one hernia, but other than that, she flew right through it. At first, she was a bit nauseated, but that soon passed after a quick injection of meds. Her mouth was dry, but her spirit was GREAT! She sat up a lil bit and was talking to me and her hubby...YOU GO GIRL!!!! She will be recovered in no time and looking like Julia Roberts in a year (giggle)! She waited a long time to have this surgery, and when I left today she was doing fine and not looking back! Stop by her surgery page and wish her well if you can! I will be bringing her card for her tomorrow night.

Nicole, I can't think of anyone I would rather see get this surgery, you are so deserving. Its been a long battle but you knew what you wanted and wouldnt take NO for an answer. Your a beautiful person inside and out. I will be praying for you and I know in my heart that you will be just fine. See you soon
