Melony, I just wanted to drop a line and say how sorry I am for hearing about your grandma. I lost mine several years ago and it was a very hard thing for me. I pray you find comfort in those around you and in knowing that she will be in a peaceful and glorious place surrounded by Gods love. As far as dizziness, I am still a preop, so don't have much to offer except living here in CO the air is very dry and I tend to get dehyrdrated eaisly. When I get that way, I get very dizzy. Melony - I am 16 days post op and went in today for my follow-up visit. I did ask the question about lettuce because like you I love salads. My doctor told me to wait until I am about 4 weeks post-op and then salads will be do-able (just remember to chew well and know that if you are eating a salad then you might be missing out on valuable proteins needed for the day). Hope this helps.

I'm just getting ready to call the hospital and check on Melony Richardson! She is having surgery today! I'm going to stop by and see her tomorrow! Hooray! Please fill her surgery page up with well wishes!
