Well, it’s official! You’re on the losing side. The trumpets are blaring, the cymbals are crashing and the drums are drumming – all for YOU! I hope that all went well for you! You’ve been out of surgery now for a little over a month – YIPPIE!!! Your journey will have moments to “pause” – I’d like to impart some words of wisdom for when it does occur - remember these wise words whispered by Confucius – “It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.” Be patient. You didn’t put it on over night, it won’t come off over night (DARN IT!)…Don’t forget to update your profile at least monthly and take lots of pictures…the transformations will make your jaw drop!!! RNY 10/31/03 – down 93 pounds!!! Good luck!
Well, Melissa, as of today you are out of your surgery and on the way to recovery. If you have any quesitons feel free to ask. And this message board does more to help than people would think. You will be amazing in you strugles and will over come any and all obsticals placed in your way. Have fun becoming a different person on the outside but remeber to stay yourself on the inside. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Just a quick note to let you know I am thinking of you and hoping things will be improving for you every day. I know it must be hard to see through the pain sometimes, but hang tough you will be so happy soon, everyone I have seen who has had the surgery is totally oozing happy feelings with their new chance at life. All my best to you and I will be waiting with baited breath to see how things progress for you as my surgery is very soon. Perhaps you will be my predictor of what I can expect in the weeks following my surgery and it will help me to know someone is close to my recovery. Take care of yourself this is ALL for you girl!!!!
Misty,
I know you're having problems right now and I want you to know I'm putting out positive thought and vibes for you, that you feel well, and recover soon, and begin a long healthy life.
You are loved on the March board.
Shalom,
Caboose
Melissa,
I'm praying for you and your family. I feel terrible, that you are back in the hospital with complications. We all appreciate Gary posting to the board to let us know. Prayers will be said for your speedy recovery. We are all family here and of course knowing one of our family is ill makes us sad. May God Bless you and see you thru this!
