Lisa, Sounds like you need a 5X ((((HUG)))). I wish I was closer so I could offer more. Keep your chin up and just be secure in the knowledge that soon you will be more powerful than you are now. From all the posts I have read, this surgery is a wonderful weight loss tool but it also appears to increase your self-worth and your ability to do things you never thought you were strong enough to do. Lisa, My surgery is through BPSG on Oct 23 at Mercy. I used to have Kaiser and could totally relate to the red tape they throw at you there. This time I have HealthNet, and they approved me in less than 2 weeks. I started the process in June, and with 29 days to go, it can't come soon enough. I totally relate to your concerns and frustration. e-mail me at [email protected] and we can trade phone numbers if you want. I'm always looking for others to talk to who are going through this.
