Congratulations on the start of your new life. I am also a patient of Dr. Peters and just had my surgery on 8/12/02 and doing great. I had an open RNY and lost 30 lbs so far. I hope that you have a speedy and complication free recovery.

Hi...my names Leslie Worth. I just had my surgery a week ago today and I, too, was really worried about the pain. I am a wussie, also and I hate needles. I made it through the day with flying colors and hope you will, too. Even after the surgery, there will be some pain. As of right now, I am not even taking the Tylenol that the doc told me to take for pain. I am pretty much pain-free, just a little discomfort. IT WILL GET BETTER!
