Well, it’s official! You’re on the losing side. The trumpets are blaring, the cymbals are crashing and the drums are drumming – all for YOU! I hope that all went well for you! You’ve been out of surgery now for a little over a month – YIPPIE!!! Your journey will have moments to “pause” – I’d like to impart some words of wisdom for when it does occur - remember these wise words whispered by Confucius – “It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.” Be patient. You didn’t put it on over night, it won’t come off over night (DARN IT!)…Don’t forget to update your profile at least monthly and take lots of pictures…the transformations will make your jaw drop!!! RNY 10/31/03 – down 91 pounds!!! Good luck!

Paulene went back to the hospital Monday night. She was having a hard time breathing and said her heart was pounding fast. She has been diagnosed with a blood clot in both lungs. I saw her today. She is in CCU at RI hosp. and is scared to death. Could you all please say some prayers for her and send her some love. Thanks, Jeanne Michon Her Friend and Angel

Paulene had her surgery yesterday. It was supposed to be a Lap procedure, but she ended up having to have a full open procedure. She is in the 5 ISC unit at RIH and is listed in Fair condition. She is having a lot of pain, but they have her hooked up to a morphine pump, so hopefully that will help. I will keep everyone updated as sooon as I find out anything more. Thanks so much. Her Angel and Friend, Jeanne Michon
