Hey I have not seen you on the board for a while and wanted to know how you are doing! All is well I hope!

I spoke with Amy on the phone yesterday late afternoon. Her surgery on Monday went well. She had walked 3 times yesterday and planned on getting a couple of more times in. Her NG tube comes out today and she is really looking forward to being able to take fluids by mouth.

Congratulations on your upcoming surgery and your new lifetime journey on the losing side. Right now you are probably on a rollercoaster emotionally - excited, nervous, scared.... This is normal - don't let it freak you out. Take the time over the next few days and 'center' yourself mentally - focus your mind on other things and keep yourself physically busy too. You will find that your big day will be here in no time and you will be calm and ready for it. We will be here ready to welcome you over to the losing side and support you in your journey. Good luck and hope everything goes well for you. Sarah G LapRNY 6/22/04 295/258/150
