ANGEL ALERT! Cindy called last evening to say she is home! Once they let her get up and walk around, she began to feel better and her oxygen levels went up. She had her leak test Monday morning with no problem. Yeah Cindy! Cindy plans to enjoy sleeping in the recliner for a few days but is able to get out of bed if she wants to. Angel Judi signing off.

ANGEL ALERT! I just came from the hospital(4pmCDT) and Cindy is sitting up in the chair and looking great! I asked her what she wanted the most and she wanted to wash her face. Turns out she was still wearing the same gown I saw her in on Friday! I got the aide to bring us a basin and linens and Cindy was able to wash up and brush her teeth. When the nurse found out, she felt so bad, she began brushing Cindy's hair and offered to help the night nurse give Cindy a shampoo. Important advice to all family, friends and angels, when we visit our loved ones in the hospital, ASK QUESTIONS! Find out what the patient needs and make sure they get it! Cindy is still in CCU due to her oxygen levels being very low. The nurse said yesterday Cindy was BLUE. Pray for her and call her. She is in CCU, bed 1. Angel Report! I went to see Cindy this evening. She is in CCU due to her sleep apnea. Her color was good. She kept dozing off and she loves that pain button. The surgery went well and they repaired a hernia also. Thank you to everyone who posted after my last message. I printed Cindy's card and took it to her. It was great to see 7 or 8 new messages! I'll go see Cindy again on Sunday, so if anyone still wants to post a message of encouragement, I print out a new card then.
