Congrats Debbie--welcome to our side...God speed for a quick and full recovery..I'm so happy for you. You will have a second chance at life now.. Take it slow and rest you have alot of adjustments to make now..all for the good..You can do it and now watch for the results. Good luck and keep the faith and may God Bless..

I am Debbies daughter Tresa. I say your post from the 25th and I wanted to let you know how my mom's doing. She is doing GREAT!!!!!! She was calling people as soon as she got out of recovery. They brought a phone into her ICU room. Her surgery started around 8am and she was out by 11am. She said it wasn't as bad as she thought it was going to be. I talked to her again this morning and she was doing even better. They are going to put her into a regular room today. She hasn't started walking yet, but she has been getting up and sitting in a chair. Thanks for showing your support to my mom. hello everyone I was just letting you all know I spoke with the hospital nurse who said debbie was doing well and in "stable" condition she was still in ICU so there was no phone to speak with her.. sent her a message we were thinking of her. 1-25-01-10:20 est

HELLO EVERYONE JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH DEBBIES HUSBAND SAID SHE CAME THRU SURGERY GREAT AND RIGHT NOW SHE IS IN RECOVERY AND WAITING FOR A ROOM IN ICU -4:42 EST WENSDAY

You are about to give yourself the greatest gift you could ever recieve. I am 4 months post op have lost 90lbs and am doing great. I no longer take any blood pressure meds, acid reflux meds, I can sleep at night my back and joint pain is better and my self-esteem is much better. I can reallly say I now get out and enjoy life.
