Patti, have no fear, at only 5 weeks post op your weight loss has just begun. You may be plateaued, and that is normal, your body is just resting from the tremendous weight loss you've already achieved. 45lbs in 5 weeks is awesome! Just keep following your plan and all will be well. Are you still on full liquids or soft solids or regular food?

Our prayers are with you (and there's a lot of weight behind those prayers)!! Hee-hee! Life is basically a self-fulfilling prophecy - wear the rosy colored glasses and KNOW that all will be wonderful. Dream lovely thoughts of next year at this time.... Good luck, speedy recovery, and positive thoughts!!

We are wishing you all the best. Stay strong and keep your faith. My husband just had surgery on 7-9 and is doing well. He was as scared as you are now. Enjoy your day and try to sleep tonight. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. And even now I will ask our Lord to watch over you and your loved ones. To give you the strength and peace tonight and tomorrow. To cast out the fear. To stand by and guide you Doctor. And most off all Lord I ask that you ease the pain after Patti's surgery and have the hospital staff to be adequate and keep her pain free. In all these things I ask in Jesus name. Amen ................ Darlene Sprague
