Wishing you a speedy recovery. Keep smiling and know you are on the losing side, now. When you get a case of the lonelies and you think nobody's there, to love, support and listen... or show they even care... Just reach into your thoughts and pull out this little note. Good luck on your coming surgery. My prayers are with you, and hoping for an uneventful surgery, and a speedy, painfree recovery. Keep your focus on healing. Make sure you walk, and keep up your breathing exercise. YOU CAN DO THIS! See you on the other side.

Bertia, I am also having surgery on the 11th I sent you an e-mail wishing you luck on your ...our re-birthday! maybe everyone having surgery on this day will follow your Idea and paint thier toenails red,white, and blue!!! I know I will,in honor and rememberance of all who lost thier lives on this tragic date one year ago.

I wanted to congratulate you on your upcoming surgery, I'm sure you are doing a happy dance, accompanied by some "NERVES", but don't worry be happy!!! You are in my thoughts and prayers, I hope everything goes well and you are up and out and about real soon. Cathy Whitmer

On the day that so many lost their lives, our new lives will just be beginning. I am also scheduled for surgery on September 11th. I feel blessed to be scheduled on that day. A day which is no longer remembered with joy will now be, for us, a day which will have happy memories. Congratulations and Good Luck!
