Hi Cheryl, your postings are very incouraging, i am sch. for surgery with Dr. O'Malley on Nov.7 and i'm anxiou to be on the other side. You should be so prouc of yourself.

Cheryl, CHERYL WHITLINGER, THANK YOU for the compliment! It has been great. Both neighbors (each side of our house) made a comment this weekend saying, "Wow, Jack got himself a new wife", and "Hey, skinny!", and then said I had a "chizzled" face. Hey, all I can say is "IT'S MUSIC TO MY EARS!!" Especially after years, and years of hearing: "you have such a pretty face, if you'd just lose some weight!" Thanks!!! Hey, I just saw your profile, and your before and after's are pretty amazing too! Congratulations! Love the Tigger and Pooh too!

Cheryl, Congratulations on your huge success! You look terrific. I also tried to put my before and after pics up at the Before & After Photo Section, but it hasn't showed up there either, although if you go to my profile, it's there. I don't know why, but we both look pretty darn happy. This surgery has been such a miracle for me. Good luck in the future and keep up the good work.

Cheryl, I tried to email you but it told me you were not a known member? My email address is [email protected]. I too am 7 weeks post op and have lost 42 pounds. I am exactly where you are, discouraged. I lost the first 20 within the first 2 weeks so have only lost 22 in 5 weeks! I am told that our bodies need to adjust to not getting the 3000+ calories a day we were feeding them before and that at about 3 months the weight starts literally falling off. I just try to keep this in mind when I weigh. I ahve my 3 month check up next month and am hoping for at least another 20, we shall see. I don't know if this will help you or not, but I thought I'd try :) If you want an email buddy let me know since we are at the same place in this journey. Rose Mary
