Andrea - You are not a freak! What an insensitive, unkind remark for him to have made. I hope you can find out why this is happening to you. I think people avoid this type of news because it scares them, but I certainly can't understand why they would avoid talking to you. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Anne Marie

Andrea: It is scarrie that your wls doesn't seem to be working correctly. In one way it is good that you don't have food intolerances, but 2 ham sandwiches & ice cream & being hungry! Are you sure your surgeon did this surgery? I am definitely interested in hearing updates from you about what you find out from your surgeon. I don't believe you are a freak. There's a logical explanation for this happening, and it isn't your fault! Susan

Hi Andrea! I just want you to know that I've been checking the message board daily to see how you're doing. It sounds like it was a bit of a rough road but things are getting better everyday. I've thought about you everyday and you're in my prayers. I'm so glad to hear you're home!!!! I'm sure I'll chat with you soon.

ANGEL REPORT: Andrea is in need of your prayers. She went to start her physical therapy today and sat down twice. She knew she had been weaker on her left side for the past two years, but today her doctor asked her to consult a neurologist. There's a possibility that she suffered a stroke two years ago. Andrea's chin is up though. She's been thinkin' up some good ideas from that hospital bed of hers. Oh...almost forgot.....special note from Andrea to Darcie "I pooped!!!". Her words and emphasis...not mine. She assures me that I'll understand after I have the surgery. Also, she's not sure when she'll be out. One doctor thought Friday and the other hasn't seen her since her consultation with the neurologist. So, once again,....keep Andrea in your prayers. Thanks.

ANGEL REPORT: I finally got to meet Andrea today. If possible, I highly recommend it to all angels. She looks very good to me, but she tells me that the doc says she'll probably be in for two weeks or so. Her spirits are definitely good and I'm keeping this beautiful person in my prayers. She was getting ready to drink her first shot of water when I walked in with my father. She was kinda curious as to whether someone she knew from here was across the room from her. Won't be long and she'll be doing these herself. :)

ANGEL REPORT: I finally got to hear her voice today. :) She's still not in her own room, but thought that she should be soon (later in the day). From what I've gathered, Dr. Kane found things a bit different than he expected. He told Andrea that he'd never have gone in there if he knew what he'd find. But he did. And he worked his magic with his hands. And now Andrea is well on her way to being a good little "LOSER". On the note of reality, she hasn't eaten or drank yet but wants to soon. She's experiencing some dryness in her mouth. Also, she's feeling nauseous from the barium. Please keep Andrea in your prayers.

ANGEL REPORT: Just got off the phone with Andrea's hubby. She's off the breathing tube. WOOHOO!! He thought she should be in her own room by tomorrow. Keep prayin' for her. :)

ANGEL REPORT: Just talked to Andrea's son. She's still on the breathing tube, but they'll try to take it out tomorrow. Hopefully, she'll be in her own room tomorrow as well. And then I'll get to hear one of the world's newest loser's voice on the phone. Something her son did mention was this: Hubby was going out to grab some dinner last night and asked if he could bring her back a steak. She flipped him off. Sounds like Andrea's going to make her presence known on the other side. :) Please keep my angel in your prayers.
