Good evening all. I visited Barbara in the hospital this afternoon and found this beautiful mother of 8 (yep...EIGHT) children to be smiling, relaxed and rarin' to go. She came through her surgery yesturday with flying colors and, with the exception of a bit of nausea, she is feeling good today. Any pain is well controlled but the "air" stockings are a tad "bothersome" and she can't wait to lose them. She looks wonderful and her attitude is great! She's still a little tired but looking forward to getting home in time for a brand-new grandbaby due to arrive sometime in the next 3 weeks. Drop her a line and please keep her in your prayers. cj

Hi Barbara, Just wanted to update you about my surgery & also wish you a speedy recovery. I was just informed yesterday by my surgeon's office that my surgery had to be postponed by 2 days, so now I am 8/2. Boy was I bummed but guess everything happens for a reason. Again good luck & sorry we will not be sharing the same day any more.
