Brenda C<br><p> I am sorry to hear of your complications with your body lift. Thank God that you are alive and here to tell us about your experience. I hope that you continue to heal and get better everyday. <br><p>Thank you for keeping us aware of what could happen. I am scheduled for a partial body lift, arm lift, and breasts lift 10/29/03 and infections and internal bleeding is one of my major concerns. <br><p>I really appreciate you posting this as it came at a great time for me to remind myself and others of the possibilities with reconstructive surgery. <br><p>I have been under the knife so much in the pass year I was begining to think I was superwoman and immune to such complications. You helped me to see that is not true.<br><P>I know once the swelling and pain subside you will look absolutely more fabuous than you do now. God Bless.

Brenda, Loved you story about your mom not recognizing you and almost falling down the stairs ~ too funny. Isn't it just amazing?! My hubby did the same thing when I met him for dinner after work one night. He looked at me walking in, and it didn't even registar to him, that it was ME! Too funny! What a great compliment it is too. You are doing so well, and look great! Congratulations!!!

Brenda... WOW, your success with your weight loss is AWESOME!! You weighed at the beginning around what I weigh now and I've just been wondering over the past week or so as I wait for my date of 6/18 to get here, if I'll EVER make it to even CLOSE to my goal!!! You, girl, have give me hope that I will make it!!! THANK YOU, THANK YOU so very much for sharing your story on the message boards!! Brenda, I too am in the planning stages for plastic surgery. The bad part is that I will have to self pay and the surgeon that I would like to do my surgery is not cheap. For a lower body lift, thighs, boobs and arms it will run around 23,000. That is without any complications and two days in the hospital and having it all done at one time. It does get more expensive if you have seperate surgeries. All costs to the doctor and the hospital have to be paid for two weeks in advance. Yes, the lower calves can be done..most do fine with liposuction and not major surgery to the calves but it really depends on how much skin you have. I wish you all the best as I continue my quest to find a way to pay for the needed surgeries. KimmieTN
