BARBARA~~ WELCOME TO THE LOSING SIDE~~ Every day will get better.

sage 23 years, 6 months ago

10/30/02. Dear Barbara: Greetings! Congratulations on making through the wls. I just wanted to identify with your feelings about food addiction. I'm approximately 2 1/2 months post-op, I remember how difficult it was for me dealing with that head=hunger!!! Currently, it's gotten better, but now I really have to force myself to stick to the proteins first, it's still so easy for me to eat chips/fridos====stuff like that. Anyway, I read your profile, concerning mental health, I too am bipolar. I took lithum for many years, until I experienced lithum poisoning a few years back. Now I take Depakote. But, I've found that many individuals that suffer with bipolar/depression have eating disorders also----especially food addiction! Anyway, if you want to talk about this stuff for support etc.; please give me a jingle! cebulsky@wcta.net Sincerely, Lori Ann
