Hia Becky Jean!! I am so glad that your surgery went well and you are now on the losing side. I almost chose your doc too, but I chose one a tad bit closer. I have Dr. Dibenedetto, he is from out of Lockport. I chose him most of all because the one nurse from my PCPs office worked for him a few years ago and said he is a wonderful person and a great and caring doctor. So I was hooked, especially after I met him at the one meeting I went to. I had a consult on 6/30 to see him, but he was out of town so I seen one of his assistants. I have appts to get my tests done and another to go back and see him in about 5 more weeks so I am hoping I can really talk with him alot more about the surgery. I have already overcome a big hurdle, I quit smoking on 7/8/05 which was one of the requirements, and I also have to lose about 20 lbs, and have lost a few now. Anyways, I noticed you were from Lockport and I am not too far from you at all. I go there to go to Walmart every once in a while. I wonder if I have ever seen you there...LOL Well if you have any pointers other than whats on your profile, I could sure use some. I am impatiently waiting for all of these tests to past and get a surgery date. I dont want to have to go into september cuz then the kids will be going back to school, and I am the one who gets them up in the a.m. But since my appt with the surgeon isnt until 8/25, I guess Im a lil out of luck. Again, Congrats on your uncomplicated surgery and to you and a better way of living. Thats how it should be for all of us! Jean

I will be praying for you and your family. Put your LOVE, FAITH, and HOPE in GOD. LOVE always being the strongest of all three. He will take care of ALL your needs.
