Hello Everyone...
My Name is Michelle I am 35 years old.. I was Very Unhealthy before my WLS. I was a whopping 398 pounds I had High Blood Pressure, Sleep Apnea,Lymphademia, Borderline Diabetic,Borderline High Chorestol, Borderline Tyroids, I needed to sleep with a CPAP machine with Oxygen I could not walk without being out of breath, I took 4 steps and had to stop to breathe. I was always a heavy kid.. I would always get pick on all the time. My Sisters would even pick on me calling me all sorts of names. When I was in school the kids would make noises as I walked like I was so Fat I was the one making that noise, I would even be asked when I was having my Baby. It got to the point It made me so sad That I dropped out of school. That is why I am not a good speller, SO please bare with me on my spelling. I tried so many Diets through out the years, They worked I lost 35 pounds on Weight Watchers but when I stopped it I gained 55 back.. I found a great Job as a Point of sale Supervisor for a Department store. It was an active job which helped me loose some weight but I got hurt on the job had to leave it . Met The man I married He Helped me due to being hurt and not able to do much.. Of cause due to not be able to walk I got the heaviest I had ever been... I was 235 before I got hurt, After I got hurt I got all the way up to 398. My Husband stuck with me through the hard times.. He is a GREAT Man I Love Him.. OF cause when I got heavy All the health went downhill.. My Doctor when I lived In Las Vegas a few months ago, I moved here to PA. My Las Vegas Doctor recommed that I have the WLS.. I had no Bad feelings about it. I went to the semminar I had a GREAT feeling about My Doctor when I met him.. Dr. Daniel Cottam of Nevada Surgical Weight Loss Center . Him and ALL the staff is AMAZING.. they are always there for you... Even after the Surgery.. I had My surgery (GastricByPass) November 13,2006 the best choice made. I would not change a thing.. The first week after the Surgery I lost 10 pounds.. I did not even have to take any Pain meds when I got home from the hospital. I still call my doctors office in Las Vegas a year after the WLS with any questions they answer it. Even though I am no longer their Patient Since I Moved out of the State From West Coast to Now East Coast.. Now I am here at 179 pounds and LOVING IT!!!!! I only have 29 more pounds to go before I reach the weight that Dr. Cottom would like me to be at.... THANKS DR. COTTAM... for my life back....
