Mp is now back in the good ol'USA! She even went to work today ... What a trooper! She says she is geting used to all the changes and only feels a little sore!I will let her takeit from here...It was an honor to be your Angel MP! Love ya!

Mp just sent me an IM saying she was going to get her hair and nails done today while recoveing still in Mexico. Way to go MP....keep up the postive attituide! Love ya!

<b>Hey you....congrats on your surgery. Wow! I'm so happy to hear that you got it done. I meant to write on your page the other day and I really thought I had done so. I guess Lee made me get off the puter before I could get started on it. Since when have you been from Ill? Lee and I were in Chicago and Springfield just a few weeks ago. Had a great time. Can't wait to hear your success story. Miss Ya!

MP just called me here is the latest... She was in surgery 4 hours, they had anticipated it only taking 2, due to the herinas it took longer. They had 2 hernias to repair as well as performing the bypass. They did it Laperscopically, except where they had to fix the hernia there is a little bigger incession. But it was not an "open"surgery. She asked me " Where did that truck that hit me come from?" The doc said the hernia repair will take a few more days to heal and why she is hurting right now. But she also said , "this too shall pass" Im telling her to consintrate on the good and not allow herself to get wond-up and worry. She told me that yesterday she questioned herself, "I hope I didnt make the worst mistake of my life." This was the pain talking, Im sure , also that she is there alone( no family/friend from US with her) . I love MP dearly ...but folks she is a Sappy Ass and crys easily..I am hoping we can keep her motivated and in a POSTIVE mood. Taking pride in her decission to get her life back . To begin Living life to the fullest, not sitting on the sidelines. yaaaaaaaaay Mary Pat!

Mary Pat Just called me from Montery, Mexico. She said her surgery is at 7am. She is having open ryn and will be having a hernia repair at the same time. Mary Pat will be in the hospital for 2 days. Then move to a Sherton hotel near by. She says the hotel is very nice and clean, she will have a little kitchen in her room, too. MP met her doc today and he went over everything and spend 2 hours with her. She feels comfortable with him and the staff, she says. I am on the contact list for the clinic to call me after she is out of surgery. I will let you all know when I hear something. I read her all your well wishes over the phone and she got teary.She had a HARD time getting on the plane to go today ...she almost backed out and her BF said "let me just take you home " They were both crying.. She stood up for herself and said , "No, I HAVE to go". I told her how proud of her we are and she is NOT alone , we all have been there, and we( OH) are all here supporting and cheering her on. She is looking forward to getting on the phone and getting online by next week. Aloha
