This is my story and I'm stickin to it
I've always been on the heavier side growing up.  Which really sucked because everyone else in the family was skinny.  As I got older I tried every diet pill and fad that came out, hoping it would be the one to actually work.  Well, everything worked initially but I always gained the weight back.  A girl I work with talked to me about her surgery and I was amazed at what it did for her.  Then I saw a friend I hadn't seen in about a year that had it done and I almost didn't recognize her.  So after seeing her I really pushed to get into the doctor and get this going.  Some of my doctors would tell me that insurance wouldn't approve me, another told me to just stop eating so much!!!!!  I barely eat and that's the problem.   So this is it, a tool to help me finally get rid of this weight forever.
I just scheduled my surgery for June 26th.  The Relay for Life (American Cancer Society) is June 27+28th so I'm hoping I get out early the next morning and have the strength to keep walking all day and night :)  I don't want to let my team down.
