Congrads Kristen on doing such a great job!!! I too love pasta dishes and would have acted like you when I got that dish from my father's boss. I too miss carbs like crazy. Popcorn and Pasta are my comfort foods. At least I am on pureed foods and down 20lbs. since my surgery on the 20th Feb. Keep up the good work! Feel free to email me if you want an email buddy! ***ANGEL ALERT*** SHE DID IT! She went through with flying colors. It was a little shaky in spots (they couldn't get an IV in and had to do a pick line) and she had a few moments of uncertainty (also due to the IV problem), but SHE DID IT!!!!!!!!! Welcome to the BIG LOSERS CLUB Kristen. You will do very well, I'm sure!

Kristin, Just wanted to wish you luck this thursday...I went in last thursday the 15th and i am home now. I know your scared I was too but the only thing you will remember is going into the operating room and your anastiologists saying i am going to give you something to relax you and that is it...The next thing you know your in recovery and well i was walking an hour after I woke up.........You will be fine.......Judy Wade

SHE'S GOT HER DATE!!!!!!!!!!! ON JANUARY 21, 2004 MY FRIEND KRISTEN WILL JOIN US ON THE LOSING SIDE!!!!! Best of luck to you Kris. I know you will have a great recovery...you just better not lose faster than i do!!! LOL Congratulations!

Kristen, you know that I am behind you 100% as you start your journey. I will gladly be your angel, and will help you with anything I can. In the meantime, stay as sweet and upbeat as you are. Keeping a good attitude is half the battle with the whole surgery thing. The better your attitude, the quicker and easier your recovery. You're a great person, and I'm sure that this surgery will be the first step toward many great things in your life. OK, now I'm writing a novel!!
