Nancy.....I know that you are probably looking for the "truck that hit you" right about now, but remember.....this too shall pass. Every day you will feel a little bit better and then one day you will wake up and feel like your "old self". Keep the faith!!

Boy what a trooper. I just spoke with Nancy and she sounds FABULOUS. She said she's really in pain but has been up a couple of times for a shower and to walk. She said that now she knows what everyone has been talking about when they mention the yucky protein drinks but she has tried one that she will use at home that tastes much better. It was great to hear that she is doing so well. Let's keep her in our prayers through the rest of her journey.

I haven't been able to speak with anyone in Nancy's room today but I did speak to the nurse in her unit. She said Nancy did GREAT in surgery and has already been up and walking around. I spoke to Nancy's mother yesterday (what a doll) and she was still in surgery at that time. I'll keep updating as I get information. Remember to keep Nancy in your hearts and prayers while she is recovering.

Well today is the big day for Nancy. I just became her angel this morning and this is my first time so please be gentle. She should be going into surgery about now and I'm praying so very hard that God will wrap his loving arms around her and bring her through this with flying colors. I'll be calling later today to get an update from her husband and will post immediately. Let's all say an extra prayer for Nancy and her family today and keep her, as well as everyone else having surgery today, in our hearts and our prayers.
