Hi Lesli. For some reason, I coouldn't get the e-mail to send from your profile. So I thought I would try to contact you this way and hope it works. I saw your profile and the comments on Dr. Gary Hall. I am just starting to look into plastic surgeons. So many questions...where to start... OK! Do you feel he is a great plastic surgeon? Did you have all that done at once? Or on different days? I hope you don't mind me asking you all these questions. I am sure you did your research on him and that is why you choose him. For what I saw on his site, the before and after pics he looks to be great. If you feel these questions are too personal you definantly don't have to answer them. Just let me know either ways. I don't want to offend you. But just in case you do here are a few more. Do you have a before and after pic from your plastic surgery? Did insurance cover any of it? Did they submit to insurance? What was their upfront cost? How many consults did you have before he approved the surgery? Is he gastric bypass friendly? Did he recomend a waiting period after gastric bypass before he would do the surgery? Did you get the lower body lift he has listed on his site? How does the incisions look? I was a d cup and am now just skin rolled up into my bra. Did you have the same problem? What was the total cost when all was said and done? I still have so many questions. But don't want to over load you with them. One final question, would you send others to him? I haven't updated my profile as of this e-mail. (Which I am going to do right after I send this to you.) But I am here in Kansas now. Overland Park. I work at the Lenexa Kmart in the footwear dept. as the manager. If you would like to get together and have lunch, or what we call a mini-lunch, lol stop in anytime. I would like to meet you. I don't work on Sundays, and Tuesdays. Lesli - I'm very allergic to adhesive tape and the only thing that has ever worked for me is aloe vera. Keep in areas clean and apply the aloe vera gel liberally several times a day. that should fix you right up in no time. If that doesn't do it, try an antiseptic spray like Bactine until it gets better. Good luck.

lesli--- first congrats on the surgery!! i had mine on 9/24. as of yesterday minus 12 lbs. i have the same problems with the tape. i must have changed type 3 times. i am now using the paper tape and my husband is getting creative on how is taping the gauze down. i was just putting neosporin on the owie parts it seems to help a bit. if you find another solution, let me know!! take care gale

you are in wonderful hands with Dr. de la Torre! He was my surgeon on 5/7/02. The Best! His staff, especially Donna are wonderful! It's worth the 4 hr. drive from KC as I too live in KC. You are young and should bounce back very quickly as my other two 30 yr. friends from KC did after having this. I'm 48 and it took a little longer. But absolutely no regrets! I'm now down 67 lbs. and can eat almost anything. His dietician was very helpful. If you need support please don't hesitate to contact me. God Bless! You're new life is about to begin!
