Unofficial angel here with good news! Missy came home from the hospital yesterday afternoon, October 23rd. (Her surgery was on the 21st!) She is tired, but doing very well and is up and walking. Her surgeon has her on full liquids and plans to keep her there for about 6 weeks. (All of our doctors sure do things differently - don't they!) Her in-laws are there to help by running after her little girl, Aly, so she's in good hands. Please stop by her surgery page and welcome Melissa to the "losing side" and wish her well! God bless you, Missy!

Good Morning! I talked to Missy's in-laws on Monday evening. They said that she came through just fine, and was doing very well. I am going to give her a call a bit later today and will have another update for you tommorrow.

Hi Missy! I'm so glad to be able to welcome you over to the "losing side" and know that you will be happy you made this decision! May God bless you and watch over you as you begin your recovery. Try now to be lifting Aly up and remember the more you walk - the less pain and the better you will feel! I'll try and call you tomorrow! (((Big hug!)))
