feb 5, 2003 Update on Jennifer- Jennifer's laparoscopic surgery took 3 hours to complete. They took her gallbladder out also during the surgery. They took a piece of fat to do research on. Jennifer stated that her stomach looks like someone's been golfing on it. She was up walking today. They preformed a leak test and she passed it. Jennifer states she is feeling pretty good. We are all praying for you Jennifer!

jennifer, good luck!! I'm having mine on march 3 . I grew up in marshalltown family is still there and i worked at the uihc 5 yrs a go your at the best hospital!! you'll be in my prayers jody

Jennifer, I am so happy that you have a date and are having the surgery done. I was just yesterday at my surgeons office having my final visit with him before my surgery. I am pretty excited. I just wanted to say thank you for your positive thoughts and well wishes for my upcoming surgery, it makes a huge difference having this kind of support. I am keeping my fingers crossed for you as well, so take care, and I'll meet you on the losing side of life!
