Spoke with Kathy this afternoon. She's been up and walking a bit, and is now in a regular room. She's been very itchy due to a reaction to the epidural. They're giving her calomine lotion (I think that's it)and it's working with mixed success. Kathy sounds great and thinks she'll be discharged on Sat.

Hi friends, just wanted to let you know I spoke with Kathy Connolly from Lynn, MA tonight about 7pm EST. She made it through her surgery with flying colors, and is resting fairly comfortably with the epidural for pain management. I'll post another update when I can. (Kathy was my angel last week for my surgery,did a great job!), Theresa Ruisi

Angel Kathy, Thank you so much for being my angel and seeing me through my surgery. It was so wonderful to hear your voice when I got to my room, even if I was quite loopy from the anesthesia and morpheine. I really appreciate all of your calls and updates to my surgey page. Your day is coming so soon, tomorrow!! Yeah!! I know you will do fine with your surgery. I'll be thinking of you often and praying that your surgery and post op period go well. Theresa Ruisi
