Hi Lark, I am writing to wish you well on your special day. This day is special to me too. My son would have been 23 today but he passed away in 1996. I make it a habit to do a positive thing in his memory so I thought I'd let you know you hvae an angel watching over you during surgery and a lot of us here wishing you well as you heal. Hi Lark, I'd say don't me nervous but what's the point? I was nervous. I think the week before surgery was harder than the week after just because of my nerves. My nervousness was for nothing, everything went fine. My recovery was uneventful and I was back to work in three weeks (desk job). I'm a bit over 7 months out and down 103 lbs from 287. It was a good decision for me. Keep it positive this week. Here's hoping all your health and weight-loss dreams come true. Best wishes,

I wanted to wish you well with your upcoming surgery. I hope that all goes well and that you are up and out and about real soon. I'll bet you are are doing a happy dance accompanied by a bundle of unwanted "NERVES", but don't worry be HAPPY! You are in my thoughts and prayers. Good Luck!

Hi Lark, I am having RNY at Rush on 1/15 and I read your nice comments back and forth to Kelley....I wish you well and I have learned alot from reading all the comments. You are very knowledgeable and prepared and that helps all of us reading these comments. I live in Indian Head Park IL, the La Grange area. You are probably the most near-by person I've read about having the surgery....I will keep you posted. As of today I have all my liquids purchased - broth and Propel, etc. I am getting excited!
