Dear Margaret, I am so happy to hear that you are doing better. I am scheduled for Friday December 7th with Dr. Fabito also. You probably don't remember me, but I was the girl that witnessed your signature for your advance directive when you came in. You were there with your daughter. I came up to the surgery floor with the hospital notary. Well anyway, I have always kept you in my prayers. I am glad that you are okay now. I emailed you a couple of weeks ago. I did come to see you after you had surgery a couple of times. You were either sleeping or the nurses/doctors were with you. I have never forgotten about you. I saw your daughters one day at the front desk as they were coming in to see you and I sent you a BIG hug and KISS. I don't know if they gave it to you or not, but here it is...MUA!!!!SQUEEZE!!! Prayers and positive thoughts coming your way, Lori

I JUST SPOKE TO MARGARET (Superwoman from chat) who had surgery in AUGUST through New Start in Missouri!!!! Margaret had been in the hospital for over 3 months! But she's home now! Margaret has had a terrible time. She had a leak, got septic shock, 105 fever, had to have a trach, and has been on a feeding pump. It's been a rough haul for Margaret, but things are getting better. Although wobbly, she's been able to walk the last 3 days without a walker. She's been sitting up in a chair and her outlook is now positive. Unlike most of us, the weight loss is secondary to all the other things she has had to go through. Please keep Margaret in your thoughts for a FULL recovery and return to a "normal" life.
