Ok, so where do I start? I had surgery on Monday Jan 26th to remove my Thyroid due to Thyroid Cancer and am currently recovering from that but have to go for one radiation treatment in a couple weeks. I am still right where I want to be weight-wise and I feel better than ever! I have been in and out of the hospital numerous times for so many different things and have escaped death 4 times in the last 18 months. I have been through hell and back and I'm happy to say that I feel myself getting stronger everyday!

Well I just past my birthday on Oct 6th! 27 years old now...but I almost didn't make it to my birthday! On 9/11/08 I was at work (work for me is a large freezer warehouse in which I manage the Inventory on the night shift). I was looking for some product on my aerial platform lift about 15-20 feet in the air when I bumped in to something and fell off the platform backwards and landed on my head. I have been dealing with Post Concussion syndrome for the past 3, almost 4 weeks now and I'm just happy to be alive. Nothing is the same for me anymore. Vision, concentration, memory and everything else that is connected with concussions is taking its toll on me. I have an appointment with a neurosurgeon on Friday due to brain swelling and constant headache! I guess the moral of the story is to be happy for everything you have and everyday you spend above ground.

WOW! I never imagined that I would be able to say this but....I weigh 200 lbs! I have lost 190 since surgery...less than a full year from surgery!! HOLY CRAP! I am doing great/ Still fighting with my temptations to eat the stuff that got me in trouble in the first place but overall I am on track! I was a 46 waist....now I'm a 33!! I am so amazed! I wish I had a better camera to take pics with and upload them but I don't so I just have a few older headshots... here they are...

It's hard to believe that I lost 161lbs sooo fast!! I did it! I am astonished! I am having dizzy spells now off and on but the good way out weighs the bad! I will try to get some new pics up really soon! See you all later..

I would be only 33 pounds away from my goal weight and thinking about raising the bar! I am currently 258lbs!!! I started this back in August...only 6 months ago at a staggering 389lbs!! 131 POUNDS AGO! I never believed I would lose weight this fast! I look and feel like a completely different person. I went from a 46 in waist to now almost a 36! Everything has changed and I can honestly say now that I never really believed in myself like I do now!

Well it's been a long time since I was last on here and a lot has happened! I am down to a 36 waist from a 46! I am under 270 now...I think like 267 or 265! I am waiting to get weighed again though! I am feeling wonderful and everything is going great! I miss you guys and hope everything is cool with everybody on here!

I am feeling great! I started my new job at Yankee Candle about a month ago! I love it except it's 3rd shift! I have lost more weight for sure but it's been over a month since I was last weighed...but I can SEE it! My jeans that I just bought a month ago that fit me then....are WAY too big now! The holidays were a little tough with all the cookies floating around! My mom makes the best cookies ever but I only had one or two! I miss my group though...my support meetings...next Tuesday will be the first one for me in over a month! I will get weighed then maybe sooner....I am curious! Yes that's right! Read it again! I have officially lost 100 pounds and feel better than I can remember ever feeling! I have been feeling so good in fact that I changed jobs and decided to finally get my ass back to school and get my degree! I'm a mad man I know it but it had to be done! I LOVE MY LIFE! I love my bady now and have only 55-60 pounds to go! This coming summer is going to be SO MAJOR for me! I have never been able to walk around with no shirt on because I have always been to embarrassed but not anymore!

Ok so here I am just over 3 months out from surgery and I am down 93 pounds! What an incredible difference for me! I feel so incredible and I guess I look great...at least that is what everybody is saying. I am amazed at how much nicer people are to me now compared to before the surgery and so many doors have opened up for me as well. I have switched jobs and now am going through the process to get back into school for my Associates degree in business. Life is getting better everyday for me.

Well I am only 7 lbs aways from being under 300 lbs! I am soo excited but I am starting to realize that getting there really is only half the battle...the cravings for sweet stuff are starting to really kick in and I am back to battling to not eat that stuff! I know that it's sabotage if I do and don't want to EVER go back to what I used to be! Life is so much better now as far as my health and well being is concerned and I like it a lot. It's amazing how differently people treat me since I lost all this weight. I am beginning to think that I have a much brighter future than I did 3 months ago. I mean I am noticing girls and even young women looking at me and even the people I see everyday...I occasionally catch them just staring at me and I can almost hear what they are thinking "Wow...He looks so much better now! I bet he feels great." People have even been saying this one a lot "Your color even looks better! You used to be kind of pale and now you actually look healthy!"
     I will find out on Friday or Monday about the whole gall stone situation but for now I will go enjoy my turkey and I hope you all do the same!
